The right to enter the music college have persons, who have a general basic education, citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons who permanently reside in the Republic of Belarus, persons of Belarusian nationality who are citizens of foreign states and live on their territory, citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan.

Novopolotsk State Musical College was founded in 1968 (according to the order of the Ministry of Culture of the BSSR, July 23, 1968). More than 2000 professionals have graduated from the college for 53 years.
